46 Inch Granite Millstone

Description

46 inches in diameter by only five inches thick. Originally from South Eastern Virginia, this stone came out of Western (or Westward) Mill on the Meherrin River. A set stone with a round eight inch eye. An old rock, the stone has been refaced and is unique in that it is a brownish granite. The millstone is broken and a crack runs from 10 O’clock to 4 O’clock in the picture.. The stone is banded to stay together. The millstone’s face design is a modified radius cut. Would make a great table top.
