40 Inch Millstone

Description

40 1/2″ in diameter by 10″ thick. A Runner Stone, has 8 ” Spanish Cross eye. It came out Carrolton/Carrol County Georgia from a collection of six stones we got off Maple Street across from West Georgia College. Chiseled sides, this would make a great bench. Uneven wear, note grooves are worn off above the eye. Lots of character. Quarter Dress where grooves are visible. Beautiful grey granite.
