47 Inch Alabama Millstone

Description

From Halls Milling Company in Haleburg, Alabama in Henry County, northeast of Dothan near the Chattahoochee. We bought an entire flatbed load of millrocks, in differing degrees of condition,  back in the 1990’s and this is just one of them. This Runner is 48 inches in diameter by only 7 inches thick with round 11 inch eye, hub in place, cracked and banded. pinkish white granite. Nice wide, deep grooving cut in quarter dress pattern. Think creatively, not just as a flushmount, but these two halves would make excellent door stoops, even vertically as driveway markers. Weight approximately only 1600 lbs.
